Nope. It's the same as sitting on a bench or tree stump.

I can't find the excitement in it as some have, but it's neat to think Nintendo was like, "you know what they need? To sit on rocks" xD

I accidently found this when I was walking in town with my brother and he got pushed onto a rock. I think it is a fun random thing.

I don't like that you can now shake trees while holding tools. I was trying to water some flowers when my villager shook a perfect fruit tree instead and it died. Thanks mayor.

Definitely new. I like it because it makes rocks more usable. Like, now we can use rocks as mini seats at a campfire or something. It's pretty rad if you ask me!

I personally don't find it very useful. Like "yay. I can sit on rocks." So exciting. xD

It's a pretty new feature for animal crossing and i find it fun to use at times.

I still think they're pretty useless xD I didn't need to sit on a rock before lol I also find it annoying that I find myself sitting on them when I meant to do something else. But to each their own! I do think it's funny to see my mayor sitting comfortably on a weirdly shaped rock xD

Is it true that if you start a new town the maps spawn more rocks than ever before? Like, that would be a horrible thing for landscaping if you ask me. Unless you prefer more rocks if your town theme is a quarry but... I mean, some people can make it work, some not so much... Can someone confirm this?
