Rock placement help?

Okay so I’ve been at this for a whiiile and I’m getting frustrated! I covered my island with custom designs and then made them all transparent, I made sure to break all the rocks and I’ve moved where I’ve wanted them to spawn several times bc two rocks refuse to spawn. I’ve read three different tutorials and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Two out of six of my rocks refuse to respawn no matter where I try to set this up.

I’ve done it several times now and I even tested it and cleared off one space elsewhere to see and one spawned only then but... not ever in the spot I actually wanted it to.

I wanted to set up a little outdoor workshop area and I’m getting super annoyed.

I've heard that you can only have four rocks per acre (the squares on the map) and that people are making sure their garden is speard across two acres? That may be the reason your rocks won't spawn…

Yeah I had heard that too, I made it so they were literally on each side of two acres and have changed the arrangement so many times, I might try again though for a final attempt.

Are you too close to any bodies of water? Also, yesterday I was moving my rocks and had the same issue you did. My last attempt to solve it was to dig up the flowers/shrubs I had nearby, and it worked. Got all six where I wanted them!

It was four spaces away from my beach, does that affect it?? I’m gonna do that and change where I have it altogether as a final effort to doing this.

This happened to me too. What I did is that I freed up a space that a rock could potentialy spawn at so that it will spawn there instead of my intended area. Then once it spawns, I break it then see next day if it will spawn in my intended area(quarry).

Also not sure about that acrea thing because all of my rocks are in one acre(map square).

I’ll try that bc I have them all spaced out and everything and have TT and still the last two refuse to spawn. Only weeds.
