Rock, paper, scissors and other games

My husband and I were trying to come up with games to play with one another in animal crossing. We were thinking we could play rock, paper, and scissors by throwing down three items as leaves then checking the other person's. I was wondering if anyone had ideas for which items we could use and any other fun games you play with friends (like fishing competitions, pitfall sumo, etc).

For rock- a stone
For paper-scattered papers
For scissors-maybe sewing project or or magnetic knife rack? This is where I was getting stuck.
