Rock glitch?

I connected my Happy Home Designer data to my New Leaf and when I loaded up my town it had 12 rocks in, many of which weren't there before. Has anyone else encountered this glitch?

I heard of a glitch happening on the Bunny Day/Easter holiday, where not breaking the extra rocks that show up could cause them to become permanent the next day... I would’ve thought that was patched out tho, and I obviously don’t know if the last day u had ur town set to was Easter

In general the process of connecting the data is weird, there’s a common glitch where the letters in your mailbox will be duplicated the firt time u enter town after linking the data. So if something like that can happen I wouldn’t be surprised if it caused weird rock spawns...

Are the rocks breakable or “real” rocks?

Oh, I completely forgot about Bunny Day! My town was set to that date and I didn't realise. Thank you for the help!

And if your still having trouble to remove the rocks, I would just hack the game and remove the extra rocks.
