Rippled or Regular Chips?

Which shape of chips do you like better: Rippled or Regular? Or some other shape I don't know about...

I like my chips rippled. I don't know why, I guess it makes them seem crunchier and just overall... better. I can't really describe it.
What's your preference?

my favorite are kettle-cooked and they are usually in the 'regular' shape.

i call rippled chips 'wavy' or 'ridges'

re other: they make waffle/lattice cut chips these days...
