so..... I have been working really hard to plot all my villagers that specifically fit the theme of pokemon and match the map of the entire region... I just finally got Hippeaux (the understudy to Bruce for Giovanni) into a tricky spot only to realize Static, (the initial inspiration behind this idea) moved out.... I have worked so hard, but its just so tedious and not fun, and this just causes a bunch of work! Not to mention I don't think I can find a replacement for Lt Surge that works as well....


I just want to give up on this town and start over.... I want a superstar town of overlooked but amazing villagers and I love the name Rutabaga for a town for some reason..... it would basically be another 100% flower gorgeous town like Riften (since Riften is done) but more so a culmination of all I've learned so far


I really don't want to do 16 cycle for Static... I put a lot of effort into the town so far and slightly hesitant to scrap such a good idea

I can't lurk for Static again.... I would need to cycle 16 more villagers out before I can get him back

While a pokemon themed town sounds cool, it seems like it turned out to be way too much work and not enough fun for you. The whole idea of a game like ACNL is to have fun, not to get yourself all stressed out trying to force things to be a certain way.

So, if I were you, I'd scrap the pokemon idea and go with your other idea. Rutabaga sounds like an awesome, and funny, name for a town.

Oh. I see. The only two options I can give you is to follow the threads in the villager trading plaza or go to another animal crossing website and look for Static.

Do you really want to give up all the other work you did on your town because of Static leaving though? I mean, it's up to you in the end but maybe you could find a sub-par replacement or something. I can see exactly why you picked Static for Lt Surge, but what about a villager like Genji for him instead? I know he doesn't have the electric thing going on but he has kind of the general look of the guy.

I'm also having issues planning some of the paths to keep the feel of the map, but its causing me stress too.... and making a fun Rutabaga town, with the Mayor Toads is sounding so much better and less stressful
