I'm a HUGE fan of rhythm games. Osu, Audition, DDR, Guitar Hero, whatever, I adore it. They are my most preferred genre of game ever!

Anyone else play any rhythm games? :3

Used to play way more rhythm games a few years ago. Guitar Hero, Rock Band, some Amplitude, Patapon... I was kinda addicted to them.

Nowadays I just play Project Diva. I'm looking forward to IA/VT, but THEY DELAYED IT

I've always been interested in Project Diva... is that only for consoles? I only have a PC and my 3DS so I'm very limited to what I can play. D:

ITG used to be where it was at before DDR got jealous and shut it down :(

I think some independent creators have continued the project though. But I stopped after ITG2.

PSP/Vita/PS3. There is an unofficial Project Diva PC, you could try that out?
For the 3DS, there's Project Mirai, but due to the system being region-locked I wouldn't recommend it.

I love DDR, I always play whenever I see a machine when I'm out ♡
I used to play Rhythm Paradise a lot for DS, but I haven't for a while.

i love elite beat agents, rhythm heaven, mikuflick (1 & 2), osu! and ddr ; v ; (as well as some others in arcades!)

Ah, if there's a PC version then it's definitely worth trying! I'll have to get it! I actually downloaded a game earlier today, a rhythm MMO called MStar which plays very similar in which you press arrow keys and the space bar to the buttons that show on the screen floating around your character.

I love Elite Beat Agents! I could never pass the last level on Agent J, but once I stared playing Osu, I went back to EBA to challenge that last level again and passed it. Osu practice really helped me out there! Miku Flick looks fun, but I have an Android phone. xD

I loved Rhythm Heaven XD
I love it too! The Wii version is brilliant! :3

HarmoKnight is a great rhythm game on the 3DS eshop. It's developed by GameFreak, too!
That looks super cute! I remember playing a game similar to that which I can't remember the name of which I'm pretty sure was a game I had on my phone. I'll have to look it up on my 3DS store, but if it costs too much I'll have to wait until I get a job before I get it. Is it a long game though? I tend to breeze through rhythm games with levels like that. I got Space Channel 5 on Steam and passed it far too quickly. Good job it was cheap.

Rhythm games aren't something that I'm interested in paying lots of money for, however I do like to play the ones that I can get for free on my ipod or phone. I often get bored of them after an hour or two and there's big gaps between times that I play them or don't play them.

Final Fantasy Theatrhythm.
Honestly not a great rhythm game, especially during the EMS sections. The game drops frames during those which is something that shouldn't happen.
Not to mention the reading on stylus movements sometimes seems inaccurate. I'm not sure if it's because I'm playing on an XL, I honestly don't see why it should make any difference, but sometimes it goes "nah you missed it" when I hit the note correctly.

I mean, I want to like it, but it's not as refined as it should be for a rhythm game.

I had no issues with Final Fantasy Theatrhythm. Whenever I missed it was because I was an idiot and did the arrow in the wrong direction or something.

The only times it was dodgy is in the moving tracks where you have to line up the wavy lines, sometimes it said I didn't do it quite right when I thought I did.

Final Fantasy Threatrhythm and Project Diva (just cleared Meltdown and Kocchi Muite Baby Extreme ^ - ^)

I was hoping Project mirai 2 for 3DS would be localised!! I love rhythm games too ^^ I'm not that good at them, but I still enjoy playing them.

Space Channel 5, Britney's Dance Beat, and Project Diva/Mirai. Theatrhythm is good, but something's not right about it.

They need to localize a Project Diva/Mirai game for a system that I actually own and not the PSVita.
