Marina was one of the first ones I found, and I liked her in NL, so invited her as one of my first three invites. Then recently, after Hippeux moved out, I found Fauna on the second island I visited. I was more than happy to take her! As far as dreamies go... there's really only one villager I want more than anything, and that's Fang. Otherwise, I don't plan on keeping anyone on my island, although I do have other villagers that I do really like and will be sad to see go. While visiting islands, I've only come across one wolf, and that was Lobo. Clearly I invited him to live on Calypso too.

Opinion: actually i dont like dobie and tbh wolf link was a bad idea but we all have our opinions, I agree most wolf villagers are good tho
I ADORE dobie! I currently have him in my town and he's a sweetheart fr. Oh well, no villager can be liked by everyone lol

Recently went on 109 tours. Of those tours, I found Several really ew villagers many times. I found Patty (the cow named after either a hamburger or Poo) EIGHT TIMES. Found every single Kangaroo - All Of Them, some of the Worst hippos (Harry, Hippeaux, etc). Found Ava the chicken 4 times, every single gorilla, and three new villagers. Cyd, who is Terrifying in person, Reneigh, who is not bad but I don't want an uchi, and Judy as my last ticket and I couldn't pass her up.
Overall, Horrible experience. I got so many repeats of the worst villagers imo - mostly gorillas, the poo cow, and the cursed chicken - that it started feeling like the game was cycling me through the same islands over and over again. After a while, there was a break and I started getting more decent villagers, but it was yikes. For villagers such as Raymond and Judy, I would 100% advise you do campsite method since smug and snooty have the two least amount of villagers.
EDIT: I also did all my tours in the p.m. hours in July so I managed to find shark fin island and catch 20 sharks, and I caught several of the rare stags (Giant stag, horned hercules, horned elephant, etc). Try to do tours with something else in mind too (ie hoarding resources or looking for diy bottles) bc otherwise it feels super wasteful.
