So, today I finally restarted my town of Pallet. It was really sad, I had this town since the game came out, had 8/10 dreamies and put so much work and live into it. You don't know what it made me feel like to see Isabelle cry, say my villagers are g o n e and press "That's what I want". It was so hard.

Have you ever restarted your town? And, what did you feel when you did?

I restarted mine a week efore new years. I was sad to leave my only dreamie, Moe, behind.

But once I arrived at the train station in my new town guess who was one of the villagers who greeted me, yep, it was Moe.

So I guess I got lucky, and even though my town is a slow work in progress I love it.

I felt so excited :) erasing those 2 town before
The first one because I got bored the second because one of my dreamies which was the only one in that moment had left me and my nightmare animal came so yeah but now I'm excited

Yeah, I resetted my town because when I started playing the game the first time, I didn't know what I was looking for.
It took me a while to realize what's important to me in a town and what I'd like to reset for.

And I don't even remember my first town, I didn't really put much into it the first time around. I think I just took my real towns' name and that was another problem, too. There was no attachment to that town.

Now I have the layout I want, with the grass type and native fruit etc I want. So I'm very glad that I did restart.

Oh, yeah, and I had one of my two ultimate dreamies greeting me at the town station. I took it as good faith too. c:

I restarted Thursday! I had my original town for almost two years, but I had to stop playing sometimes last year to focus on school and such, and it fell into a state of disrepair and all of my favorite villagers moved out(except for Midge, bless her). I was really close to being finished with it, and it broke my heart to see it in the state it was in. I think Phil moving was the last straw, though.

Good luck with you new town! ^_^

I'm pretty happy with my town and I finally took time to give themes to 4 of my rooms in my house. I don't think I'd be ready to restart for a long time still. It would be very hard to do.

I restart my second town often and it never bothers me. How come you restarted?

I just wasn't happy with the layout of the town, I put permanent pwps in bad places, Rods house was in an awful spot and I had to cycle through 16 villagers with only two spaces left to get my last two dreamies back.

When I reset my first ever town, I felt kinda relieved. It was getting really boring and I didn't like my villagers or town name anymore, so I just reset. I was kinda nervous though, because I had no idea how I was gonna get everything back that I had in that town. (I'd had it since I first got the game.)
But, I reset my second town more confidently because I had better plans for a new one.

I reset the first town I had, which I had ever since the day it came out. I think I restarted around last February-ish..
I was fine resetting, I reset because I was making no progress in the first town I had, so I wanted a fresh start. I guess I felt indifferent? I don't know. However, I was a little sad because I was leaving behind one of my favorite villagers, Bud. I got him back in my second town, though.

I've reset a ton since 2013 when I bought the game and it has never once bothered me.
Kinda wish I would've stuck with my initial town at the time, just for the sake of having the "town started in 2013" date, but it hasn't really bothered me too much.

I reset my second town a couple times. It was just kinda a "meh" feeling. But, I was considering restarting my main town. Long story short, my main town is actually pretty perfect. I wanted to restart it because when I first started playing, I TT's a lot and my "History of my town" was all over the place with dates. I didn't like it. It was my first Animal Crossing game so I didn't know what I was doing. I decided not to reset my main town. If I did, I would have regretted it and would be like, "What is life?" and be super sad. Glad I didn't though.

The first time I reset I was a bit sad, because I had both Muffy & Stitches in my town...

I got Sitches right at the start of my second town though, and then Muffy was one of the first villagers to move in... so in the end, I don't think I really missed out on anything. Of course, by now, I've been playing this town way longer, so I have a lot more stuff now than I ever did in the first town...

The only thing that still bothers me is that I caught a Coelacanth in my first town pretty early on... I still haven't managed it in the second one... :T
