So, I have some bad news...
I restarted my town of MapleOak. You might be wondering why, but there are plenty of reasons I can say. Here they are:
First of all, my layout was better than my old one, but there's still a problem: the villager houses. They always got in the way. Almost everywhere I went I couldn't stop bumping into a villager's house.
Next, my villagers and fruit! I had cherries, and those are okay, but I really wanted apples the most. That's not a major reason, though, since I'm fine with almost any fruit. But about the villagers...I wasn't fond of them. The only villagers I really liked were Gayle and Mott. Everyone else, no matter how hard I tried to like them, I just couldn't...and after Keaton moved in, that was the last straw. He's okay, and I didn't really mind having him, but it was a bad mix with my other villagers.
Also, I rushed through everything. I feel like I hardly enjoyed the town since I was just rushing to pay my mortgages and unlock the island. Lesson learned: Don't rush with a new town!
There's more than that, but those are the main reasons I restarted. I have to admit I'm pretty picky about my villagers, too. But I was just tired of seeing villagers I didn't like...
I'm sorry that a lot of you were excited about seeing what MapleOak would become. But after hearing that a lot of you were beginning, I thought, Well, who cares? I won't be alone. I'll be with other beginners!
Now, you might be wondering why my username is back. Well, I wasn't very fond of the name MapleOak since I had Cypress, so Cypress will probably be the name of my next town. I'm broke in Bells now, but it was worth it!
I also won't be doing Blogs anymore. Not with my new town, at least. I'm getting a YouTube channel when I turn 13, and that will be a lot to handle if I have a Blog and a YouTube account, as well as a TBT account. So I'm really sorry about that.
Yup! That's why I came here...feel free to leave a comment! I don't know when I'll start my next town, though, so if you ask I won't have an exact answer yet.
I'm so sorry about this...I thought I wouldn't restart. But for now, I'm sticking to not posting Blogs so I won't have to keep telling everyone that I restarted.
