Restart! How much do you think it would cost?

I just was curious incase I ever wanted to give it a try. I am not interested in doing this. I don't have anyone who plays animal crossing so if I ever wanted to restart but wanted to keep some of my items I'd have an idea if it was actually worth the trouble.

How much TBT do you think a person would charge (or how much would you charged if asked) to hold one bag of stuff for an island restart?
(obviously a time limit of holding the stuff will have to be established since some people take forever picking a map)
And if you didn't have anybody who played animal crossing, would you consider this kind of thing if you wanted to keep some of your stuff in a restart?

You mean like holding onto someones items/bells/etc so they can restart their save? I wouldnt charge anything I'd willingly hold stuff for people since my island is always empty..

I never have restarted in an AC game but in new leaf I would often hold stuff for friends who liked to change up regularly!

I think a lot of people would do it for free if you ask. But they would probably appreciate something such as tbt tips or some items you don't plan on bringing over to your Island like mats.

But it also depends on how long you think it will take for you to restart. Like if a friend few days, I'm fine with it cause they are a friend. For A complete stranger, I would do it for free for a day or two of restarting. But if a stranger takes a week or more, I would probably charge because I still play regularly and I have to play on my island with someone's items cluttering it.

Don't forget that you'll start with limited inventory of 20 and you can't use the airport the first day and maybe the second because of tutorial stuff. It'll take you a while to bring stuff back to your Island or what I did was I brought my friend's stuff over for her cause it would take less trips.

same as what people above have said! if it'll only be for a couple of days, a lot of forum members are happy to do it for free, but tips of any form would I'm sure be appreciated. if it's for a bit longer, some form of payment would probably be nice depending on who holds the items as it can disrupt gameplay. since you're saying only one inventory of items it wouldn't be a major disruption but it would still be nice to have some form of reimbursement!

I restarted quite a bit in NL and sometimes got friends to hold items, or once i got a second town i'd put the stuff there, but sometimes when resetting it's quite nice to just have a complete new start!

Itd be nice if someone had a spare house and could just hold everything but who knows how long it could take.. resetting takes days that is torture and we shouldnt have to go through that and im fed up with this game. Have to take a break now..

I've done this for someone on here. I didn't charge anything. I think it took 1-2hrs to drop-off and then again to pick-up the following day. They could've picked-up the same day but I was going to bed so we did it the following afternoon.

Same as almost anyone else here, I don't mind leaving my switch open and charging while I afk ^^
haven't held items for resetting before but I have a decent amount of open space
