RESOLVED - Lost Item Bug?

Hey everybody! I have encountered (maybe) a bug with the lost items. Last night a villager came up to me asking me to find their lost journal. I searched all over and couldn’t find it. Today, she still is asking me to find it. Are these requests not supposed to go away when a new day starts? Could it be anywhere except just on the ground outside? I’ve never had a problem finding things before. Anyone have any advice?

I never experienced it... For me it's alway on the ground somewhere. Check behind trees and buildings

Thanks for answering! Yeah that’s what I thought! Haha I made myself feel motion sick moving the camera around to look behind all the trees and houses lol. That’s Papi the horse! He’s my favorite villager!
