Resetting for villager pictures?

Pashmina is asking for a perfect fruit. Can I keep resetting and eventually get a picture from giving one to her? She waves to me when I call her on my megaphone. I've already reset about 10 times and still haven't gotten it, when with other villagers have done it after 2-3 resets. However I've never done it with perfect fruit so I don't know if it works the same (just when they ask for rare fish/bugs) Anyone have success with perfect fruit & getting a picture?

If your friendship is high enough you can get it for completing any favor. My very first picture was a reward for simply delivering a gift from another villager haha.

The only way to get the pictures it's to have a good friendship with them if they ask for fish give the best and furniture give them rare and fruit give them perfect

Oh I didn't know it could work for something small like running a gift for them! I've only had success with rare fish and bugs so far. I think all of them minus Portia are considered high enough to even consider a picture, it's now just a waiting game on the ones who haven't coughed them up yet

I think ive gotten one before when i gave a perfect fruit. i got them before when i gave rare fish and bugs too (sometimes these were furniture requests lol). got one for getting a petition signed. have also gotten the mat random for small tasks. but ive definitely re-set on the perfect fruit gift to see what items they had to give me-- just dont recall if it led to a picture or just to a high value/rare item. but i'd say 10 resets is enough, probably isnt in the cards this time....

I got Sterling's photo by getting his petition signed. lol As long as your friendship is high enough, it could happen randomly.

i usually get my villager pics from getting their petition signed, but i once got ankha's pic by giving her a perfect peach.

Yeah you can get it from giving perfect fruit but I think I've only ever had that happen once. I don't know if the likelihood is different for different tasks.

Also it was Roscoe and he had been in my town for almost two years and we were best buds so not sure if that makes a difference either.
