Hi guys,

So I finally received my dreamie Felicity yesterday (hooray!). At the moment I'm trying to use the reset trick and get her to move into a particular 3x3 spot in my town. However, so far I noticed that she tends to place her plot into three particular (and unfortunately bad) spots instead. I'm currently on my 52nd reset, and about 80% of the time she placed her plot into those three bad places.

Do you think it's worth to continue trying to get her move into my preferred spot? Or should I just go with the next decent place she chooses? I'm kind of worried that something will go wrong and my data gets corrupted from all the resetting haha x_x;;

If you're doing the reset trick, how many times does it usually take you to do the reset trick? Do you always try to move a villager into a particular spot you want? Or do you go with any decent spot they landed on?

Thanks for reading

When I do the reset trick, I just try to get a decent spot. Not much more really.

I only use the reset trick when a villager is in a terrible spot. I never pick a certain place because that would take forever.

I'm not too picky, but for Coco, I wanted her to live near me. That's the pickiest I've ever been.

I heard rumors(not sure if true) that the reset trick can corrupt data ?:l
So I do it rarely. I still if it didn't. Takes too much work -_-

I think it's really difficult to move them into an exact spot, unless your town is so filled with PWPs that there are only a few areas left to move into. I usually stop re-setting when it's a spot that's not terrible and in the general vicinity of where I want them.

I very rarely aim for a specific spot, but when I got Mira back I tried to get her house as close as possible to where it was before. Other than that, I usually just reset until they're in an okay spot and not right in front of my cafe or something!

Are you serious about this?! :0 The longest I done reset trick... I took about 4hrs. Their house always land on my hybirds... ALWAYS.

Ahh thank you guys! I guess I'll stop once Felicity gets into a decent spot then! As long as she does not land directly in front of my bridge, town hall and house, hahah.
I originally wanted her to live beside my other peppy, but I'm starting to think it's impossible since she never appears near that spot even once.

...I can't imagine how long it take people who got all of their villager houses perfectly aligned @__@ *shudder*

I heard the rumor too, so I'm worried about doing this too much xD After my 60th try I'm starting to stress out hahaha.
I wish Nintendo lets us pick where villagers move or give a tool to backup our data x(

They do the same to me too, I swear they do it on purpose lol. Maybe next time I should put tons of hybrids where I want villagers to move xD

Ohmygosh yaaaaaayy!
Right after I posted that, she puts her plot on the place I want the most *u*
She's one tile too forward, but I won't nitpick. Not after all this resetting!
