Remember when AC:NL was first introduced? Our first reactions as us being the mayor of our own town? Remember when we saw Isabelle for the first time?

Remember when we first started our town?

It's been almost a year after the release of New Leaf, I'm just here to reminisce before, and a little after New Leaf was released in the US ^^

Only had my town for almost 3 months now....and I can remember it

Started the game and Hopper, Rory, and Ankha met me at the train station. I also had Tucker and Flora as starters!

A few days later I got Hans as my first move in!

Shari moved in

Marina moved in.

Apollo moved in.

Rolf moved in from the Campsite

Apollo moved away (and gave me photo)

Harry came in despite no invite from campsite or streetpass....(I like the hippos....EXCEPT HIM!)

Flora left

Tucker left (and gave me pic)

Pinky moved in

Ribbot moved in from campsite.

Harry left!!!!

Skye move in from campsite.

Shari left.........

Mira moved in from campsite (AFTER 3 DAYS OF RESETTIN!)

Pinky left..

Now I am resettin' to get either Chester, Drago, Clay, Stitches, Zucker, Alfonso, Deli, Lucky, Agent S, or Sprinkle (Among them I am hoping for Clay, Drago or Chester the most!)

I remember well!!! We had prepaid for 4 copies for me and my oldest 3 and then sat on them for a week so I could hand them all out for our 10 hour drive to Florida for vacation. We all started playing at 5 a.m. : ) by pure luck, my penguin loving oldest son, started out with sprinkle and my panda loving daughter started out with chow!!!

That has to be the best luck I've ever heard with villagers

I remember when I saw perfect oranges for the first time and people thought it was a "pear-orange hybrid"

I remember that on release day I was staying at a hotel, so I had to go to a Target to go download and buy the game off of the eShop (really wanted a digital copy so that I would never lose it). It took almost an hour to download. Then, since we didn't have internet back at our room, I answered Rover's questions without a guide and got a pretty weird face. I kept it, though, because Avery was in the welcoming party and I loved him in City Folk. He's the only original villager left in my town, and he won't ever leave if I can help it.

I remembered when i got it on release day, The time wasn't the happiest for me over the summer but when animal crossing was released I was beyond happy after years of waiting for it, I woke up early in the morning before Gamestop opened still wearing my Pajamas, i went in got the game and my parents since they knew how excited i was over the release got me the guide as well. We went home and i went back into my nest of blankets i created in my bed snuggled down and took 4 hours to get a good name and think of a town name ;_; When i finally came out of the gates i was literally amazed at how beautiful the grass was. The highlight of the game was purely the grass and trees. When I finally became mayor with the tree planted I knew I was going to be the best mayor this town has ever had and only mayor it will ever have. And to today I still play and have never reset, Then I spent the rest of the day reading the guide book. Thank you for reading my life story. By: Wolfie X3

I was rabid and frothing at the mouth since the announcement

I may have torn a rip in the space-time continuum on the way to Gamestop to pick it up

god ****in bless america
(the only one still around is chevre LMFAO though i shoudlve kept nibbles but shes in my 4th town so its okay)

I remember how jealous I was of the US for getting it released a week before the UK. When I bought a 3ds as I pre ordered New Leaf, using up ALL of my money. My 3ds came a day before it was released here and I was super excited that it came in time so I didn't have the pain of having the game but not the console to play it hehe.
Me and my friends wanted to see what it was like for your character to sit on a bench and change their shoes and socks. I wanted to visit dream towns too. :3

It's the little things that they include...

I wasn't as excited as most people here, because I wasn't really into AC then. This game got me into it right off. I had played WW and CF so I thought 'might as well get New Leaf, even though I won't play it a lot'. I was so wrong xD. I was amazing by everything, but I loved the river the most. It looked so much nicer than in WW! Being mayor of your town really added to AC IMO, you can really make it the way you want now, and I love that. The town I had is my longest running town ever, even though I reset, I still have tons of memories of the early days of New Leaf. :)

I only got my game 5 months ago, so I never shared the excitement of most people here that waited! :c but it was definitely very memorable when I planted my town tree! (forgot to take a picture though! >~< )

I wasn't to sure on the whole being the mayor idea. I was also really concerned about grass wear. I heard it was a big problem in CF. I had to wait to play my NL game because I couldn't find where I had put my 3DS last.(is very unorganized) After a few days of searching I came across it and started up AC:NL. I had plans on resetting so I just randomly chose a name. It never came to pass and I still have the same town I started with in June.

I remember that Gamestop was closed and a Target employee lied to me and Wal-Mart finally proved itself by going to the back and getting me a copy.

I remember reminiscing about Wild World, and just googling "animal crossing" on a whim. Little did I know that New Leaf was just released a few days before! What a coincidence :) I also remember umm-ing and aah-ing about whether to buy a console just for one game, but I did, and not had any regrets since :)

I was ****ing exploding for it like woah but I ended up getting it about 2 months after release. I forgot to take a pic of my introduction as mayor and idk my starters oooops I just know I apparently used to have joey and moe?? amelia might have been a starter, idk

My starters were Kevin, Whitney, Fauna, Bianca, Jeremiah, and... Harry? I'm not quite sure. Anyway, I was actually not aware about the game until about 2 months before it released... when it did, I was not an owner of a 3DS, but I did eventually get one on New Year's Eve 2013 (which is actually a terrible time to start a town, I learned).

I remember in 2011 when I first heard of it. I decided then and there that I was going to get a 3ds just for ACNL. The wait was forever, but well worth it!

I couldn't buy it when it first came out because I had no money or time to play.I bought it last december so I could play it during my winter break back home. I remember I was so excited to start my town (I came home drunk and realised my DS arrived so I named my town after the bar I was just at -_-) I just picked the first option Rover gave me and that's the town I stuck with. My 14 hour plane ride to Korea from the US I think I spent more than half of it awake playing animal crossing (and I'd usually knock myself out on sleeping pills). The one thing I regret though is that I spent a lot of the initial days time traveling so I got almost all the shop upgrades and cafe in a day or something. If I were to start over I'd probably take my time (but I'd never start over :p)

I remember when I got mine. I had just started to look into it when I heard about it compared to Harvest Moon. I was teetering on the edge of getting it when my dog died and I couldn't cope that well. So I got the digital copy and after restarting three times (once to re-name my town and once by accident) the rest is history.

Now I get to go over to my fiance's town tonight and do landscaping for him! Yay!

I remember I didn't get excited for it until it was actually here. I paid off my mayor's home in less than a month without TT'ing. I was super hooked. I didn't take many early pictures, though, but I remember all the spots in my town where previous villagers lived and how it looked before it got completed to what it is today. ^^
