Remaking Question

Quick question: is it possible to remake someone else's things for them?
For example, if I dropped off my rococo table for someone in their town, could they remake it for me and give it back?

They can give it back as long as they do a regular remake and not one that involves custom patterns. Items that were customized normally have a red leaf as their icon (as opposed to the regular green leaf icon). Items that were remade with custom patterns have a yellow leaf icon. Since those items take their custom patterns from your 10 inventory pattern slot, they aren't able to be dropped on the ground or sent to anyone in any shape or form.
