Release date

So yesterday I went to my local gamestop and asked about AC's release date. They said it came out in August and was taking pre orders. To pre order it was only $5 now and $35 when I go pick it up, so I pre ordered it.

I'm hearing about other people saying their gamestop's release date is June 2 but mine's always said August (not a specific date)

But... yuhhh.

I went and got $300 out of my life savings just to get my 3DS (along with Nintendogs) so I would have it when AC come out.

I have bought a 3DS, Nintendogs + cats, $90 shoes, 2 CD's worth $20 each, a phone worth $300, a $50 and a $40 scarf, $100 jeans, several DVD's worth a total of $85, have preorderes The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time ($10 deposit) since March 31st (so like 1 month) and still have more than enough to pay off TLOZOOT and buy animal crossing... I have too much money.

Nintendo has no set announced release date yet. Any date you hear from Gamestop or any other retailer is a placeholder date at least for now until after E3 where there COULD be a release date. (my personal guess is it won't release this year)

To add to that, Like Jeremy said in this video

GameStop gave him that paper and it said June 6th. Not gonna happen (even though it was a place holder) this is probably their second place holder. If there's some good info at E3 then I guess August is a good date.

WTAC (Welcome to Animal Crossing) *the title I kinda hope this game gets* I THINK may be released in November/December, yet that's only a guess.

Upon the release of City Folk, Nintendo released the first trailer in the July of 2008, before releasing it to the public in the November.

I'm only speculating from a past event, but that's what I hope may happen..
