Anyone ever had a villager who was just a Plain Jane character that moved in and you never particularly liked them until you really started talking to them? Then, it is like all of a sudden you think they are the cutest thing ever and want to hug and squeeze them forever? I did that with Rodeo. He is such a cutie. At first I just liked the way he looked and then all of a sudden he said some really cute things and I just couldn't help but fall in love! I did it with a couple of them, honestly.

Mira is one of my original villagers and isn't a dreamie really but I have grown to love her and refuse to let her go lol.
I also really grew attached to Bertha and sadly let her go (have her picture in my house though) to get a dreamie. Some villagers just rub off on you I guess cause I still a lot of times regret having her move she was so sweet. But it made me happy that I had some adopt her and give her a good home.

That happened to me with Wendy back when my brother and I shared a cartridge. She was just so awesome and cute, and she was always there for me. Then, she moved away after 2 years. :c
In my first ACNL file Stinky was my original character and became my permanent villager, but I lost him due to TT. But I got him back in my new town! I've also grown fond of Hazel, who is a starter in my new town, so I'm going to keep her too.
Diana. She was in my campsite, and I didn't understand all the fuss. So, I invited her to move in.
She was wonderful, and her house was so pretty. It was just that, I didn't know how to plot reset at the time, soo she plopped down right in front of a bridge. I moved her out, but she moved to my friend's town so I'm not too distraught anymore!

I got Celia as a starter in the very first town I had in New Leaf. It was my first time playing and first time meeting her, so naturally I had no strong opinion of her at the time. Little did I know how strong my love would grow. She's my queen. MY CHILD. MY EVERYTHING. I never saw it coming but I'm happy and now I'm never letting her go <3

Lots of them, for Feldspar! I didn't even think about "dreamies" at the time, so Walt, Willow, Snake, Benjamin, and Lionel are all permanent villagers just because I got really attached over time. And I did have a dreamie list for Flint, but ended up deciding to keep both Pashmina and Zell from my original set of 9 because I grew fond.
