Regarding breeding hybrids?

Do I just need one hybrid flower to reproduce more of the same kind, or can I only breed more if I have two of that kind? Eg do I need two pink cosmos to create a third (and more) or can I create multiple with just a single pink cosmo plant? And with all species of plant, just an example?

you can definitely clone one hybrid flower to produce more! although the chance is increased when others water your flowers!
