I'm pretty sure it's already been asked, but using the search bar I can't quite get a definitive answer.
The thing is, I've had to completely stop playing mid-June and for all Summer until now due to studies and job becoming crazy. I don't usually time travel, but I figured I could just go back to the day I stopped in order to enjoy Summer!
However, I fear I won't be able to take part in special events, since they are supposed to only happen when the date is in sync. Say, Halloween : it makes sense I won't be able to play it when it really happens for everyone else, but will it unlock when my Switch reaches the date? I'm afraid I'd have to TT forwards during the event to unlock it, then go backwards again, but that would wreak havoc on my island...
If anyone has some definitive experience about it, I'd gladly hear it
