Fakes are sometimes so funny if you're interested in getting them. I have fakes displayed outside on my island for my villagers to look at.

Edit: for the third time he came with all fake art. I am using a guide so I know I'm not wrongly thinking they're fake I'm just dying wanting to finish my museum

My luck with him has been awful. It's been two weeks now since he came around, and he did have a genuine painting during that time, but the other times have all been fake.

At this rate, this gallery is never going to be completed. That's why I have resorted to looking elsewhere to see if others have him on their islands

He had all fakes the last two times he visited for me too. I am so frustrated. I bought the fakes anyway in case I end up trading them, but it’s really dumb he doesn’t have one genuine piece guaranteed considering he doesn’t always come weekly like some other visitors.

I'm so sorry! I haven't had Redd often, but he's had 1 genuine each time.

I do think I'm going to do a fake scattering around my island, at least until I have duplicates (I know, optomist!) that I can swap out. I just put a fake ancient statue with my Stonehenge, because of course it was built by aliens!

But all was not lost, because I bought a haunted fake painting.
