Redd turned up in my town again today, and I think I bought the real painting. The other 3 were definitely fake, and the one left was Rembrandt's The Night Watch. I have a few questions about Redd though:

Does Redd always sell 1 real and 3 fake paintings?
If you've bought all the unique paintings & statues for your museum, does Redd continue selling random pieces of art, meaning you can display them in your home if you wanted to?

1. Redd will always have at least one real piece of art. I've personally had him sell two genuine pieces on the same day on a few occassions, but I don't know if he can have three or even four genuine pieces on the same day.

2. Yes, even when you have completed the art section in your museum, Redd will still show up and have at least one genuine piece of art every time.

Unfortunately, you cannot show a second copy of a genuine piece of art to Blathers for amusing dialogue. But yes, he'll always have one real deal for you. Redd's in my town today too.

Redd's in my town today too! He sure gets around. The very first time he came to my town, he had two pieces of genuine art. Since then I keep hoping, but it's always just one. Your home will look great with those fine works of art!
