Red turnips

well, today i bought 1,000,000 bells worth of white turnips and the only red turnip seeds joan brought to my town. this is my first time getting a red turnips, so i have some questions about it...

1. she only had one today - and i have googled this and looked on 3-4 sites before i got annoyed and just decided it'd be better worth my time to just ask a few questions i haven't seen answered here -... does she ever have more?

2. does it matter if i plant this right next to a river, or a house?

3. will it die like a tree if it doesn't get planted in a place where a fossil can pop up?

4. will it die if i run over it?

5. when do i plant it? she says to wait 1 week, but white turnips die the next sunday... so do i dig this up on saturday right before sunday, or sunday? nook doesn't buy white turnips on sunday, so is this the same with red turnips?

6. i've heard both of these things - that gold watering cans and silver watering cans can revive wilted red turnips. is this true, or does only one of them revive the dying turnip?

You can only get one a week

The only place you shouldn't plant them is near a sign where a villager can move in

Plant it asap, and water it every day, and dig it up on the next sunday to sell it for 12k

If you miss a day, it will wilt, but it can be revived if you water it with a silver watering can.

Why dig up next Sunday if you dig it up Saturday that same week you get 16k.
No it won't die if you run over it.

Yeah just sell them to Nook when your ready. Their price changes everyday if they're still alive the most is 16k on Saturday.

5. Plant it as soon as you get it - If you water it each day after 6 days you can dig it up with a shovel and sell it for 16k to Nook. Digging it up before 6 days have passed will result in a lower price (16k is max).

It must've been withered away at this point gotta water them every day otherwise you waste 1,000 bells and seconds watering the thing.
I still say its worth it though
