Recruiting from campsite and adopting from another town "at the same time"?[RESOLVED]

Well, not exactly the same time, but close...

So I got Rudy in my campsite the other day and I recruited him to continue cycling. Today, he still hasn't plotted, and I completely forgot I recruited him and adopted Bill from another town as soon as I saw someone giving him away (yeah, I got overexcited).

My question/s: what happens next? I have 8 villagers, so I have space for both, but are they going to plot at the same time? Is Rudy going to plot first? Is Bill going to plot first? Or is Bill considered voided because Rudy is moving in? Or vice versa? Has anyone done this before?

• Yes.

• Plotted a day after Rudy.

Or is Bill considered voided because Rudy is moving in? Or vice versa?

• Neither was voided because I had space for them. :3

Has anyone done this before?

I couldn't help myself and went ahead to check. I saw Rudy plot next to my house. Now I'm afraid Bill will be voided. :C

No, Bill should get voided. It usually takes 2-3 days for an oncoming villager to set up their plot, so if you requested Rudy to move in before Bill, then Rudy should be first.

Tis a shame such a lovable duck is being voided. I would've traded one of my popular villages (Lucky/Punchy/Flurry) for Bill :< ah well, good luck!

BILL HAS PLOTTED!

He plotted the day after Rudy did.

So I guess in this kind of situation, as long as you have space, they will move in the order you recruited them. :3 I guess that must be why there's an allowance of two days per move in.

Anyway, I'm really happy! Thanks for the help, guys! I guess I answered my own question? xD I'll update my first post for anyone curious.

Yeah, I've read of it messing up games, but then it's probably because they didn't have space or stuff apparently.
