Recording system for 3DS?

I am wanting to record videos for NL and Yoshi's New Island, but I haven't found a device/program that is suitable...
I need something reasonably priced, and I don't want something I have to permanently attach do my DS because I bring it everywhere. Please don't suggest just doing a camera because I want my videos to look professional.

You mean a capture card? Yeah, you won't get a good one for cheap. I'm sure someone here would know of a decent one though.

Then it's headmounting a camera, because as far as I'm aware that is the only option to accurately record 3DS gameplay.

It is. If you don't want to unscrew the back and screw that on, then you can buy a used 3DS and use that one for recording. Also, if you have an XL or 2DS, a camera is the only way.
