Recording ACNL Gameplay?

Hihi ~
So I've been thinking of starting an ACNL Youtube channel, but I have nothing to record game play with.
I've head there's something you can order to capture game play, but it's about $200 ;_;
Does anyone know of any alternatives?

You could use a webcam and place it well accordingly to fit the screen. Other than that, the capture card is probably best.

The best capture cards are from 3dscapture.com and those are $200.

If you want to record with a camera you at the very least need a mini tripod you can set up. JustPressStart has a good tutorial if you want to go that route, but I'd only suggest that if you want to record gameplay as only a hobby.

Damn, reading that really wants me to start livestreaming - just because I know it's possible without a capture card! I'm probably a bit overhyped though...
