Hello everyone!
All my 3DS life, I have only really played AC games, Tomadachi Life, and like 2 Mario games (and a few random pet games).

I was wondering if you guys had an recommended 3DS games that are fun to play (: Reply below, thanks!

ive recently gotten into the harvest moon series and i think they are pretty great. they are nice slow chill farming and life sims like animal crossing and the artwork is unique in every game, which is super cute.

Fantasy Life and Miitopia should be right up your alley. I'd also recommend the Professor Layton or Ace Attorney series if puzzles with some nice plot sounds good to you. Pok?mon X/Y is also one of the better games of the series.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is one of my favorite 3DS games. The controls take a bit of time to get used to but they work really well once you get the hang of them.

To second Corndoggy's answer, I played Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns and enjoyed it. Haven't played a Harvest Moon game since then so I couldn't tell you about the later 3DS titles. If you enjoy games like Animal Crossing and Tomodachi Life you will probably enjoy Harvest Moon.

Story of Seasons
Mario Kart 7
Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire
Kirby Planet Robobot

I've played these the most. :)

Story of Seasons is the newer version of Harvest Moon these days. It was a game I really enjoyed.:)

Here's some of my favorites:
Rune Factory 4
Fire Emblem Awakening
Kid Icarus Uprising
Smash Bros.
Tomodachi
Style Savvy
Denpamen
Etrian Odyssey Untold Millennium Girl & Etrian Odyssey IV
Bravely Default
Cave Story 3D
Project X Zone
Zelda Ocarina of Time
Zelda Link Between Worlds

It really depends on your own preference, but if you're looking to try a new game, I found these to be really enjoyable, so I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot.

I second Fantasy Life, one of my all time favorite games! There is so much to do. The Zelda games are also really fun!

Mario Kart 7, as mentioned. The online is a bit *cough* but it's playable also. And grab the Pok?mon games while Wi-fi is still up, I recommend OR/AS the most even though USUM is playable. And whoever above put up the Kid Icarus game as well, it's really good. And also if you're able to get VC game stuff their SNES and GB/GBC collection is great :)

Fantasy Life
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
LoZ: Link Between Worlds
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (if you don't mind grinding, and intense monster fights)
Dragon Quest VII (if you like JRPGs)
Resident Evil: Revelations
Pushmo, I think is an eShop exclusive, but it's a really fun and cute puzzle/platforming game.

All pokemon games (pearl/platinum, white/black, alpha sapphire/ omega ruby, ultra sun/ultra moon)
Pok?mon mystery dungeon series is one of my favorites (early titles have a better story - explorers of time, Sky, and darkness - but try Pok?mon super mystery dungeon for better 3D graphics)
Harvest moon
Mario Kart
Mario & Luigi: bowsers inside story (honestly this whole series is cute and has a good storyline)

the 3ds is one of my favorite systems! there's so much variety with the games on it. since it's backwards compatible, i also have some old school ds games. my personal recommendations would be:
- all of the possible mainline pokemon games but i'd personally especially recommend platinum, heartgold/soulsilver, and bw/b2w2
- pokemon mystery dungeon, blue rescue team and the explorers games are the best but super mystery dungeon has better graphics and combines series elements along with bringing back some old faces. don't even try with gates to infinity
- persona q + persona q2 (some mature themes)
- monster hunter 3u, 4u, and generations (try monster hunter stories if you like a more cartoony style and a more traditional rpg experience)
- miitopia (since you like tomodachi life, it's actually longer than i expected it to be)
