Pokemon Black and White, Layton: Unwound Future, DragonBall Kai: Ultimate Botuden, Zelda: Spirit tracks, Pokemon Pearl, Lego: Pirates of the Carribean, Katekyo Hitman Reborn! DS Flame Rumble XX - Kessen! Real 6 Chouka, Final Fantsay: 4 hereos of light, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings, Bleach: Dark Souls, Dragon Quest IX, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, Nintendogs, AC:WW, Yoshi's Island, Mario Kart, Super Scribblenauts and Lego: Starwars.

The previous Laytons were enjoyable like Unwound Future and I believe his latest is out now too, Kirby Mass Attack looks fun, but I've yet to get it. The World Ends With You was pretty fun, usually cheap and almost always on sale on Amazon. The Ace Attorney games are fun too if you like giving the brain a workout and don't mind a boat load of text.

You could try some older games! Like tom said phoenix wright games are fun. Custom Robo was a good game, especially if you didnt have it for gamecube. And one of my favorites was kirby canvas curse... I'm sure you could find all of these pretty cheap used online!
