Recipe glitch?

The other day when I was on my fiancé’s island, he learned a recipe and tried to read it. It kicked me off his island. The switch force quit his software, but when he got back on he had the recipe, and he was able to read it.

today I got a recipe from bill and read it, and it did the same thing. It force quit and I had to get back on, and I was able to read it and learn it.

Has anybody else had this problem?

The same thing has happened to me
I found a beach DIY
Read it and all the sudden my software shut down
It’s interesting that it has happened to other people as well

We probably should report it to Nintendo then if it’s happening to multiple people
