Received bags of Bells

Hi,

Yesterday, I went to the Kap'n island and opened it up to world visitors. A visitor stopped in the island, dropped bags and bags of 99 thousands of bells and then left. I picked them up and brought them back to my town and now I'm a millionaire.

Why did this happen, and is this a normal weird hack people do? I'm completely rich now, and don't have to work anymore to earn bells.

I'm guessing that a lot of people hack them onto the island and share them out of the kindness of their hearts.

Yeah..? It doesn't matter that much since earning IGB is really easy.

It's happened to me a couple of times. I think it will happen even more now that so many people have power saves. I'm seeing a lot of bell give aways on Gamefaqs these days too.
