Rebuilding a bridge.

Does anyone know what space is needed to rebuild a bridge? The bridge I want to put in my town was finally unlocked but I don't want to demolish my old bridges until I am sure that I can rebuild them. I have one bridge that has a house that is somewhat near the bridge. I think it is 7 steps away . Unfortunately the house is Divas and she is one of my favorites. Thanks for any help.

If you do a forum search, there is a guide that was made on this subforum.

If I remember right, you need a 6x4 space on either side...but I would check that guide thread since it even has a graph.
