so i was stalking a couple of acnl tumblrs and i saw this

Have we actually tested out going into someones town with a free space in your town and trying to persuade the camper to move over to their own town?
Apparently it works it's just very rare!

can someone confirm if this is real or not please!

Real. You can do it, just very rare to occur. Haven't have it happen to myself yet, but there have been several other claims, which I would think are reputable.

I've tried this a bunch of times in my towns and the campers never bring up the moving dialogue.They just say stuff like "are you a visitor too?" or "isn't this a great town?".I think it's like when people claim that they've had an octopus as a starting villager....it might be possible but I've never seen any real evidence that it has actually happened.

I wish, I say no as I have never heard anyone say they did it or seen proof since game came out...but if can prove it, please, would change a lot in trade and play and everything with villagers.

Someone should try this, if you have a camper in your town and someone has an empty space in their town, why not experiment^^

My friend has tried this. I had a villager she wanted in my campsite, so I let her come over to try to persuade him to move to her town.
It didn't work, unfortunately.

Nope, I don't believe its worked. I've tried in other towns and it has never worked for me, and plenty of people have tried in my town to no avail.

This games been out for a very long time. I think if it worked, we would have known about it by now.

A camper can only move in to the town they camp in, unfortunately. Would have been nice if they could.

That was posted around a year ago, apparently. Never tried to test this myself either.
