Ok... So I was having a normal bug catching session with my friend and he told me some tips and tricks and then we just caught bugs. Normal right? Well then after a while I had filled almost the entire basket to bring back to the town. He told me he had to go and I just went on filling my inventory. Then it happened. He left the town probably by closing the software using the short cut of pressing the power button. but then i was in the middle of catching something when the game just stopped. It froze. Leaving every. Single. Bug. Just wasted.

I think it was triggered because you cant save while at the island and when somebody leaves a multiplayer game it saves. So yup. Finally I'm going to say this:

DO NOT LEAVE A MULTIPLAYER GAME WHILE AT THE ISLAND!​

Oh no that's terrible! I'm sorry to hear that happened to you
I've heard some horror stories about the Island, too: when you go and play online, some people hold you at the Island for ransom, saying things like they'll disconnect the server so you lose all your stuff and bugs. Some people smh. This sounds more like an accident, but still, I wish the Island wasn't so finicky, too!

The main thing here is that Nintendo needs to fix this right away. And DANG some members of the community must be pretty bad to be around. Like if I had somebody holding me for ransom i would let them disconnect the server because then they loose their stuff and don't get anything out of it. Or maybe you could be pretending to give them the stuff and then when they have it disconnect the server. I'm just going to make sure my friend there is trusted and knows the island glitches so I don't loose all those bugs again. Also I was lucky because it take away everything at the from the start to the end of the multiplayer session. I started the session and went to the island immediately. Nothing before that. But still. Around 500,000 to 1,000,000 bells lost. Be careful at the island kids. Don't get held for ransom. And always keep a buddy with you when you go to the island with a stranger. Or you could be recording...Post it on YouTube...Make a viral ACNL horror video...

Welp that's all I have to say. I might post back on this but probably not anymore. Only if someone comes asking to go to the island with them. SPOILER ALERT: I won't go.
