Reach the end of animal crossing?

Completing the museum, 4 characters with houses all fully paid off and fully decorated in a sensible way, all dreamies in, all pwp's where I want them, all badges earned. Basically to be able to just come in and play without needing anything new, just check on my villagers, make sure no ones trying to escape, have visitors, go travel, visit the island, do some trading, but not need to work on anything. I want a town that I can relax in, right now I feel like I'm constantly striving for something, when I finally "complete" a town I feel like its gonna be like a vacation destination for all my other towns...

I don't know, I like the feeling of always needing to get something done. Constantly doing things or needing to work on something makes me feel productive, so the idea of reaching the end of Animal Crossing... doesn't sound very appealing to me. I'm the kind of person who starts projects and happily works on them, but rarely finishes any of them before moving onto to a new project. I guess I'd know when I reached the end of Animal Crossing when I can't think of anything else I want to get done.

there is no end you are forever trapped

While New Leaf has a lot of set goals and achievements, I don't believe there's an ending to the game, as the whole point is to... live in and enjoy your town? Talk to your villagers, walk around town, do stuff that makes you happy. (-:
