What do you think would complete the game? Since there is no real ending? what do you think you need to do to 'finish' the game?

My unofficial end was getting all my dreamies, after that point I kinda slowly let school and stuff come back into more focus. But I'm still playing everyday for at least 10 minutes trying to get the master fishing and diving badges so yeah like pocky said, earning all the badges would probably be the ultimate finish to the game for me.

I'm a sadist and want to get every achievement, every PWP, every item catalogued, all DLC items, all maxed houses decorated, every Villager picture, every KK Slider song, every Club LOL gesture, every mini fossil, and 999,999,999 bells in my abd.

There is no end
But I guess an "end" is when you go through 12 years (without time-travelling) to get the zodiac animal items on New Year's Day, although I highly doubt that would happen :p

All Golden badges, fish/bug/deep sea encyclopedia completed, Golden tools, all furniture/clothing catalogued, 10 villagers, 4 residents, all PWPs unlocked, fossils all found, and every villager picture :d

Basically what all the above users have said and anything else I can think of doing before I've done every possible thing.

There will be no official end for me. I guess when I get tired of playing...which might be many years from now. LOL. Seriously, I enjoy doing monotonous things that other people find boring. I find comfort in having a set routine. This game is a nice, relaxing part of my day.

Complete every badge, challenge, etc. Hit max bells and medals. Fully upgraded everything. House and landscaping absolutely perfect.

That should keep me busy for a while. c:

Congratz on all your dreamies!

I can't imagine not going on here on the future… That's a weird though. I always come here when I'm bored c:

You and I may be the only two playing ACNL in 12 years. LOL

We will conquer Acnl lol

Haha same:) compared to others here I'm relatively new but I still can't imagine not being here:) wanna join the 'conquering acnl in 12 years' club? Lol

Until no more bells can be in my abd, catalouge filled, all gold badges (etc, etc) but with all four characters (and never use the same one again after i max everything) I can say with total confidence, even after we get a new game (and even 10 years after) I will still play acnl. Not everyday, obviously, but it's always fun to go back and see how much things can change even from one game to the next.
