Re-tail Flea Shop help?

Sooo I've been doing art commissions over at the Museum and I had someone come to my town to pay. She wanted to have me set up my items in my Re-tail so she could buy them for 999,999.... It just gets the paying over quicker. When I set the items up, Reese said that she would put the money directly into my savings account, but once I went to check it afterwards, the number of bells hadn't changed.

I had about 3m in my account before she paid but once she fully paid everything, I still had 3m, instead of 13 (she decided to pay 10m). I know she didn't rip me off 'cause this person's paid me bells several times before, and all of the items she took were gone from my re-tail.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm really confused.

Never thought about it this way, but it helps me understand why the bells don't show up until the next day.

LOL, that exactly happened to me the very first time I did retail payment, it shows up the next day, dont worry at all.
