Buying Re-Seeking Wishlist

Hello, I used to have some rarer items that were placed on my plaza, but when I went to go pick it up the next day, redd destroyed them. If one doesn't pick up items that were placed in their town, the game doesn't recognize the fact that you have ever obtained them. I even checked the police station for months, but they never came. Can someone please help me get them back?

I'm willing to look at all fair in game bells (not TBT) for them!
