Some people would pay literally hundreds or even thousands of NMTs right now for him and then there's people like me who would pay you so I don't have to adopt him.. So you probably wanna sell him to someone who actually wants him lmao, then you can get a ton of tickets right now, just look around at Discord or the villager trade section here

With the over-inflated rates right now you could sell him for millions of bells and thousands of NMTs. I got him for 2mil bells and 5 NMT, which I think is a fair price for a popular villager. But I pretty much never trade villagers for bells, I usually ask for items or flowers I don't have, so I'm not the best to ask I guess lol.
