Raymon seems to be a very popular ACNH villager and i could not snatch him for my town since he wanted to move in lucky house and since I don't have lucky photo yet im not going to take Raymond, at least this time.

I have never tried to adopt anyone from someones campfire so I do also not know if it is possible however if it is I have him today for the take for who ever wants him

You can try multiple times by exit the game without saving if the campsite visitor chooses a villager you don’t want to let go next time.
p.s. I am not sure adopting other island’s campsite villager is possible either.

Someone just told me this but I have more players in the game so i did save to try to get someone else with them so ill be using this trick next time, no can do anymore

You mean you have multiple residents on one island? I think you might try using other resident’s account to invite him too if they haven’t? But we haven’t done it for a long time so I don’t remember the details. Inviting campsite villager is really tedious and stressful to get him/her kicking out the villager you don’t want to keep. Need to be super patient with abundance of time.

Yeah i have 3 different accounts/players in the island and i tried with all of them, saving every time i exited the game sadly, and everytime he would always ask for lucky to leave. But ill try again later in the evening maybe he might say someone else

You can’t adopt villagers from someone else’s campsite. So you’re stuck with the option of kicking Lucky out for him or letting the cat disappear back into the void.
