rare things in the game

So, Goldie just gave me some yellow violets!? I've never had a villager give me flowers before! Has anyone else ever had this happen? Also not long ago, Marshall asked me to take him to Ponchos house, I've never had a villager ask that before, either. Usually they give you things like furniture and clothing and usually they ask to go to their house or yours!

I've had one or two villagers ask me to take them to another's house. I've never had them give me flowers though. The closest thing I've had happen is one of them sent me a persimmons in the mail.

There's a dialogue glitch that can happen when you take animals to each other's houses where their dialogue will be switched between the two of them. It's happened to me about 3 times.
The rarest thing I've found is when you walk into an animals house and there is another animal already there visiting them, again, I've only seen this about 5 times.
To give you an idea about how rare these things are, I've been playing the game almost every day for the past 2 years.

I've gotten a flower hybrid in the mail from Shari before. I'm assuming that's pretty rare.

The only villager that's asked me to bring other villagers over is Hans, so I'm assuming this is pretty rare. He's only done it twice as well. I've never gotten any flowers from a villager before though, let alone hybrids!

Sometimes I send flowers to villagers as a cheap gift, but they always end up giving them back haha

If they had flowers in their inventory they got from you or someone else, they can give them back. Also, villagers are known to send hybrids.

I've had it happen quite a few times that a villager will ask me to bring another villager to their house, though. They added a few new requests, such as petitions and time capsules, as well.

The rare thing I find the weirdest, though, is that people have actually watched the trains and determined which is the rarest, though. From what I can remember, there are two or something that come at certain times every hour, but then there's a special one (orange or something) that only comes every once in a while.

Also, sort of in relation to the flower thing, you can get them to send you fruit and whatnot. Sometimes they randomly send it to you, but I think it's also one of those things where you can trigger it by sending a letter containing the word "fruit". Haven't had much luck with it in ACNL, but I think it also has to be of a certain length. You can also get bamboo, as well, from what I know.

I've never received a flower from my villagers before but I have had a few villagers ask me to bring other villagers to their houses.

Usually it's just so they can talk about something and then they leave lol

In the sense of items, there's two really rare items that are probably a mistake on the developers' part: the sprinkler and lawnmower. You can buy both of these items in the store, and sometimes villagers can give them to you as well. The strange thing is that if you sell these items and decide you want to buy another from the catalog, you can't. They're treated like special holiday items despite acting like normal everyday items. I dunno if they're like this in any other AC game, but I've always found this really weird.

So, in short, don't sell your sprinklers or lawnmowers!

My side player just got a pink tulip in the mail. If you don't write letters a lot you the villagers may send you some rare paper to get you to write back. Both side players received the post office paper and my new mayor received the museum paper.

I've got the request to go get another villager.

From what I've heard, you can asking be gifted hybrid flower bags like the ones that you can buy from Lief, but they are extremely extremely hard to get a hold of. Lief will sometimes gift the to you if you do the weeding mini game, but they are very uncommon. They also worth wayy more if you don't use them, so if by chance you ft ahold of some, don't plant them.

You can get hybrids in mail from Uchi villagers! Happened to me like two times.. Tho i never had a villager ask to take them to another villagers house.. XD. I had them ask me to bring someone to their house.. Hmm

Leif gives you the hybrid bags if you don't wake Leif up. Pull all the weeds and save/continue.
If all the weeds are pulled than Leif will give you a hybrid flower bag. If you still have weeds leave the game without saving. Start it back up and find the weeds that Leif said was left. The host only gets the hybrid bags. The visitor gets furniture.

I use a knitting counter to keep track of the weeds. It's easier when you just have 50 weeds.

Reading all that I've read here and taking it into account:

I've gotten flowers/hybrids in the mail, seen villagers in one another's houses, and received fruit/candy as a reward many, many times...

Maybe I'm just lucky. Or maybe it's because I've racked up more hours playing this game than all my other 3DS games combined... :roll:

I've taken villagers to each other's houses a few times, the weirdest thing I've ever seen is when Yuka referred to Shari as a he when she is quite clearly a she. I kept speaking to Yuka until she said the exact same thing. I mean, what's it about...

One of my villagers gave me a sprinkler, but I didn't know that it was an unorderable and since I didn't need it, I sold it. ><

Punchy sent me some nice stuff in the mail; the best I got from him is a throne . Kiki sent me Halloween Stationary. :]
