Rare Furniture Sets?

I think I put this in the right place....

Anyway, what do you guys think is the hardest to obtain/get series? I'm starting to collect series of furniture and already completed the pav? set and about half the gold set. I want to fill my house with rare/difficult to obtain sets. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Hmm... 7-Eleven, Bug-Off, Fishing Tourney and Ski sets are probably the most difficult to get.

Yes, the 7/11 particularly. Although most people probably have it now from reading anyway (I haven't)
The fishing stuff is difficult too. I only have 3 pieces

There's a shop here that sells bug off, fish and 7/11 so none really. I'm putting the 7/11 in my basement bahaha

If you're buying stuff on TBT, then nothing is really "rare." If you want to get furniture on your own, those (complete) sets will be hard to get.

7/11 is DLC, so of course it's hard to get (I don't know if you can even still get it without trading for it). The ski set is hard to get because you have to complete a lot of bingo cards. The sloppy set is hard to get because it is hard just to find individual pieces in Re-Tail. Anything that you get from a holiday in your region is not really rare as long as you put some time into it.

Put that way then yes absolutely. I earned the ice series on my own. It was tedious but the process is easy enough. I don't have time to try to obtain them all on my own and I'm ok with it haha

As far as hardest to get, I'd probably say DLC sets, or the sloppy and cardboard sets. Mainly because with the sloppy/cardboard, there's no 'easy' way to get them in-game; you can TT and collect gold for the golden set, TT and redo any events, etc. but with the sloppy/cardboard, you have to literally TT and hope the game gives you the items you want.

I'm hearing 7/11 set a lot, isn't that only exclusive to Japan??

I usually try to get as many pieces of the set I want and then go here for the rest in desperation. Most of the time I get all but 2 :/

Sloppy furniture will show up once in a while in Re-Tail. It would be much easier to buy the set from someone here. I totally forgot to mention it above. After the 7-Eleven set, Sloppy is probably the hardest to come by. Cardboard furniture is available during the sale periods in Gracie's shop, which is the last 2 weeks of each season.

The gorgeous set isn't hard to get. It's expensive, but it's sold for 2? months in Gracie's shop.

The gorgeous set (along with other furniture sold in Gracies) is only difficult to obtain if you are running low on money or you haven't actually unlocked the emporium yet (waiting for Gracie visits etc.)
I guess it all depends how far along you are in the game and whether you take part in trading and what not.

I only started trading the beginning of January and joined here afew weeks ago too.
I was amazed at what was available but I wouldn't have any of what I do now if I hadn't had any help.

The cardboard is pretty hard to obtain. 7/11 is also hard too.

But if you buy it off of TBT, it's pretty easy to get.
