I decided I want to talk about why Clay is my favorite hamster:

I love the more unique villagers such as Hans the Yeti, Drago the Dragon, and Julian the Unicorn. My 2nd favorite ones are the ones who's appearance is a reference to something, such as Ankha being a refernace to Egyptian Mythology, and Mira being based on Sailor Venus. Clay is one such villager! He is based on the Dogu statue:



I even changed his catchphrase to Dogu. IMO he is the 3rd best lazy in the game, just behind Tucker and Drago, and just above Stitches. I love the idea of a villager based on this statue. I gave him an Imperial Shirt, and he looks rather nice in it!

Honestly the ones that are just cute, and not unique or a reference are usually my least favorite ones.

Please don't start posting that he looks weird or things like that. The Dogu Statue appearance is one of the reasons I consider him a great villager!

I never knew that about Clay, but that's a pretty cool fact.
See the reason I like Soleil so much is that the majority of each species have at leat one villager (usually snooty) who's all glammed up with makeup and stuff that it makes them look really weird. (Ex: Diva, Monique, Alli, Amelia, Gigi, etc.), But Soleil basically broke that trend imo because she still managed to be absolutely adorable despite the snooty appearance that she takes on.

To be honest I really like the design of hamsters, I think they're cute. Having fat isn't a bad thing.

3. Clay (Love his design to be honest. Even thought its design base has been used a lot before in Animal Crossing. I'm picking on the characters itself, not its surroundings)
4. Hamphrey (I don't know why I like this Cranky so much lol.)
5. Rodney (Rodney might not be the best looker, but I love this guy! He's house placement reminds me of someone who loves video games, and I love video games. Hey, and not all gamer are good looking but I don't care in my book. Rodney is awesome.)

The too big dead black eyes, the angry red color, the sugary catchphrase... she'd actually make a great creepypasta kind of character.
