I'm bored, so I'm gonna do poetry. Because that's what you do when you're bored. Don't expect it to be that good, because I have no experience in it. I do write, though. So I'm sure it's not that hard. Just give me a topic and a mood and I'll do my best. I do it for free, but I appreciate tips!

The water was still as glass
On a cold December dawn
I heard a splash
Turned my gaze
Attempting to see
Beyond the haze
But nothing was there
Just the stillness within
But when I looked again
I saw a humongous fin
It sunk back down
Revealing the tail
I knew this time around
It must be a whale!
I climbed atop the boat
Like the queen of the sea
And when I threw my coat
I was never so free
Jump! Splash!
I stood upon the whale's head
With not the tiniest piece of dread
