Random items you're attached to

I've got a question for you all:
Are you attached to any items, and why?

Today, when I was going through my closet, finally getting rid of all my junk (mostly clothes, but some random furniture that I for whatever reason was hanging on too as well,) I found a beret. It was just a beret, worth like 40 bells max. But no matter what, every time I was at Re-Tail, I always skipped over the beret. I just can't get rid of it. The reason? Julian used to live in my town, right next to my house. He was my best friend in town, not because he's super famous, but because he lived right by me and was like my second villager to move into Dawnstar, so was around a fair amount of time. For most of the time I had him, my character wore the beret, and the first thing Julian did every day was compliment the beret. Eventually, he moved away, though he never gave me his picture (so betrayed </3) and thus the beret was the only thing I really had to remember him. Even if he never gave me his picture, I still love him, so I keep the beret.

But anyways, do you have any random, seemingly useless items that are just important to you, but not really worth anything otherwise? What made you get attached to them?

I have a thing with balloons, too. I usually have 3 or 4 with me when I wander around town.

Tammy sent me a pink tulip hybrid she grew in a letter. I haven't even put it in my town. I just sort of have it saved in the post office with the hybrid attached because it is literally the sweetest thing and whenever i read it and i can just pull out the present and have instant feels.

Oh, and also for some reason I just can't sell my Gracie clothes or goldfish. The clothes I know I'll never wear, but...I don't wanna wait another year to try and get 'em back! And the goldfish, well, they're just really, really cute.

Red snapper chair, lion dance mask, shirts and random other things my villagers have given me haha. If I know I'll never chuck it but never use it it goes in mail storage!
