Rainy Days

This is my first rainy day in-game. A few villagers have purple things around them and are super depressed and one has black stuff jumping off her. Whats this mean?

The purple swirls mean they're sad about something, or possibly sick. The black thing jumping off of them are fleas. You can use your bug net to catch them!

The one with the purple probably had recently had a conversation with another villager that upset them. Villagers will complain about the rain to you in their dialogue but it doesn't actually affect them in terms of depression.

And as the person above stated - use your net to catch the black jumping flea! They'll appreciate it.

The purple has nothing to do with the rain They most likely had a conversation with another villager who made them all upset. The black thing is a flea, which you can catch with your net!
