Rain leading to fewer hybrid offspring?

Does anyone else have fewer hybrid offspring in their town the day after it rains, even if they watered the flowers they wanted to produce hybrids? I know that rain stops wilted flowers from dying but that you still have to water your flowers with a watering can if you want hybrids. On a non-rainy day, I water my flowers and the next day I have 3-4 hybrid offspring. But on rainy days when I water my flowers, I only have maybe one or two hybrid offspring the following day. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm constantly experiencing it in my town, have been for the past three years I've had this game. I'm guessing it's due to the fact that every flower is getting watered, and watering the flowers even more does not help.

I'm so glad that someone else is experiencing the issue and that I'm not just crazy, lol. It's so aggravating that the rain isn't conducive to hybrids -_-

I have this too. I think I read somewhere a couple months ago that any rain decreases the chance of hybrid spawns. :(

Well, its because that only a few flowers can offspring hybrids. And the rain is watering all the normal colors. (It can't water hybrids) And because of that, you can't hybrid at all, or only some.

I think it's because rain is "free," you don't work much to make it happen, and it's like a free watering. It'd make sense for hybrid growth to decrease once it rains, and I don't think watering again in the rain will help, since it's already wet.
