Rain and how does it affect water flowering?

Does rain affect the flower production of flowers that other people have watered? It is currently raining on my island, and I was going to have people water certain flowers, but I just want to know if rain affects the overall flower production. Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

Rain effectively just counts as you watering the flowers, so it doesn't boost the chances of breeding beyond that. If you want the visitor bonus, you still have to invite the 5 other players to the island.

Weirdly enough I found that rain is more effective at breeding flowers than I am...

I agree! I always get hybrids after a rain, but not when I personally tend and water my flowers.

I feel like rain water is more potent than the water in my can.

After it rains, theres more flowers growing. It was the main reason why my island had too many flowers, it rained too much.
