quick question about villagers moving out

ive been trying to cycle becky (who i got from streetpass ugh) out of my town, and blanche is my go-to villager for gossip.

she told me that kid cat was considering moving; i found him, but he didnt ping me

i saved and quit, and ttd to the next day to see if he would ping me now?he hasnt

how do i get him to ping me to ensure that i can tell him not to go? or is it too late? :^(

I think you should keep TTing one day at a time to see.
I talked to Molly to see who is moving out and she said that Bones is moving out and Bones never pinged me until 3 days after Molly told me.

Don't TT until you've ensured that Kid Cat won't move. If you just save and restart your game without time travelling and make sure that Kid Cat is the first to see you then he should ping you. You can also swim to the farther corner of your beach, stay still for 5-6 minutes, and then try to have Kid Cat be the first to ping you that way. If you time travel apart from that then Kid Cat might accidentally move out.

i had this problem w/ anicotti, but i actually wanted her out ugh

should i tt back to the day before, when blanche told me? or keep playing in this day?

No problem ! Glad it worked out ^^. Also, time travelling any amount of time back is equivalent to time travelling 1 day forward so I'd advise against it if the problem comes up again in the future.
