Hi everyone. Iam not sure why but my ACNL WA Ds gamecartidge makes a noise when shaking it.
Am I the only one and is it normal?
Thanks.

I just tried to shake my Miitopia gamecard and it does the same thing too.
I'm not sure if it's normal tho.

Okay this sounds weird, because I don't hear my cartridges making sounds when I shake them.

I've noticed that in older games it doesn't do that. My ACNL does it, btw, but Nintendogs doesn't.

For me
Miitopia and Animal crossing NL are the only ones that make the noise.
It's quite confusing since my Mario maker , Hey Pikmin , Happy home designer and Mario 3d land don't.

Have you tried with AC?

I've never really noticed it until now actually. It's weird

Yep it is.
I just looked up "Opening ds games" and it looks like the gamecard inside the plastic cover is not glued or screwed.
It might be the thickness of the this black thing that makes it move.

So I have the WA NewLeaf as well, but mine doesn't rattle when I shake it. I'm assuming you mean you hear rattling inside of it, like something is loose. Because if there's some other kind of sound coming out of your game, you better call an exorcist.

Yes I hear a rattling noise inside. It's like the whole card is moving. Not pieces.
And when I press tightly on the front and the back it stops.
Do you have the same issue?

No, none of my games have ever rattled, whether they were inside my 2ds or out of it. You might had dropped your game or did something forceful/rough to it, where the insides have dislocated somehow. Or did you buy these preowned?

I've actually bought it last week thro Amazon.
In a new condition. It might have got damaged during the shipment maybe?
Anyways Iam planing to open it and see what's up in there.

Did the package look kind of faulty when it arrived from Amazon? I don't mean the game case, but the cardboard box or envelop it came in. Cause if those looked kind of shoddy, it's a possibility that whoever delivered and or got it ready for shipment wasn't gentle with it.

If that's the case and the game isn't working properly, you could always try your luck at getting a replacement via Amazon. I don't know if it'd be worth it for a $20 game, unless it's not a huge headache about contacting, sending pictures to prove it, and so forth...

It came in great condition actually , altho I just realized that it feels like the card is bouncing Inside.
I've opened it and nothing seems wrong with it. The problem might be with the thickness of the card? Anyway the game functions very well.
Regarding the price I've actually paid 50$ expecting the original "new leaf" and what came in the box was the WA.
Iam disappointed tbh because I can easily pick up the WA for 20$.
Anyway I might be contacting Nintendo regarding this issue.

I definitely would contact Nintendo over that or Amazon/whoever the seller was. That's false advertisement.
