questions about villagers moving out

hiya guys!

so... i have 10 villagers and 3 of them asked me to move out but i didn't let them. so i'm kinda curious about how moving out works since that never happened to me:

- after i agree to a villager moving out, when will they be in boxes?

- after they move out, will the plot be open? if so, will i get a random villager the next day?

- is it possible to delete a plot and have like only 9 villagers? or less?

i have no idea how it works xD

-They will be in boxes next day

-If someone takes your villager that is in boxes, they'll be gone immediately. However, either way the plot will not be open until next day, and then that plot will be taken randomly the day after. Edit: So you have a day to find someone for the plot
